Increase your speed at this 24-lap program driving the “World’s Fastest Half-Mile”.
Experience prices vary depending on track location and are subject to change.
**At Daytona International Speedway, Walt Disney World® Speedway and Watkins Glen you must be at least 18 years old with a valid drivers license and at all other tracks be at least 16 years old with a valid drivers license to participate in our driving experiences. Also must be healthy to drive a standard transmission (stick shift).

Available at: Atlanta Motor Speedway, Bristol Motor Speedway, California Auto Club Speedway, Charlotte Motor Speedway, Chicagoland Speedway, Darlington Raceway, Daytona International Speedway, Phoenix International Raceway, Richmond International Raceway, Talladega Superspeedway, Texas Motor Speedway, Walt Disney World® Speedway.

Experience real life racing thrills by riding shotgun in a 2-seat stock automobile driven by one of our professional driving teachers for a 3-lap NASCAR limiting run at speeds up to 165 MPH. The Ride-Along Experience is operated at over 20 locations and begins one hour after the begin of the days first driving class.
Additional Information:
Ride-Along Experiences are acquirable on a first come, first serve basis. Reservations are not required or accepted at most tracks. Ride-Along Experience participants must be at least 14 years old. All participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

HISTORY
After more than a decade of operation, Richard Petty Driving Experience has become the premiere motorsports entertainment company in the industry.
1987 – NASCAR Australian Champion Barry Graham started a company called NASTRAK in Melbourne, Australia to refer potential race automobile drivers and instruct them the fundamentals of racing.
1990 – Graham then decided to tap into the tremendous interest in stock automobile racing in the United Says with his good friend, 7-time NASCAR champion Richard Petty. 1994 – The company finished its transformation and became Richard Petty Driving Experience (RPDE).
RPDE also brought its programs to Daytona International Speedway for the first time.
2001 – The addition of tracks continues to grow with dates at river Speedway, Chicagoland Speedway, Michigan International Speedway and Talladega Superspeedway inserted into the calendar.
2003 – A Commercial and Film Division begins at RPDE. Cars, drivers, pit equipment and a high-speed camera truck are part of the “One-Stop Shopping” acquirable to the production industry. RPDE has managed and executed commercials for clients such as Visa, Tylenol, Duracell, General Motors, Lowe’s Home Improvement Warehouse, Federal Express and others.

2006 – RPDE debuts at the Martinsville Speedway and as the first event at the new Iowa Speedway in Newton, IA.
